Peeing is ostracized, fetishized, and certainly not enjoyed as freely and happily by all as it
could be. Its institutionalisation is a deeply gendered, classist and ableist process resulting
in unequal expectations for public behaviour. Dripping Honey presents a fantastical 4-
meter-tall peeing puppet, a wide range of genitals at its toolbelt, relieving itself joyously
and in defiance. In our performance, the puppet will be followed by its bratty comrades,
the two other performers: reciting poems, playing self-made instruments, and involving the
audience in our chants. To urinate outside a designated space is to assert our bodies beyond market logic, institutional prescription on gender and ability. Let the yellow stream
lift the dust off the pavement!
